On A Trip

I wanted to make a collage. A collage compiled of found things and hand-made things. My initial goal for this piece was to make a bus, but as I progressed through the project I realized that it could be more abstract with still imcorporating the "bus" idea. It's meant to transport the audience into this magical world, as if the bus is taking you there.

I made this piece for my parents. My mother has been begging for some art to go over our living room couch and I thought what better way to thank them for everything than to make something hand crafted. My parents have supported me in the whole entire college process. From paying for tutors, to editing my essays, to helping me study, my parents have guided me to where I'm going today. As a the college essays come to a close, I thought that this big thank you was needed.
